Tooting Our Own Horn
The Charlevoix Evening Garden Club prides itself on the many outreach projects and programs we have been involved with. For a small club with less than 20 members we've had a large impact when it comes to supporting our community. We are eager to welcome new members.

HONORING OUR VETERANS
A Colaborative Project

Charlevoix has a Blue Star Memorial located in the park area south & east of Bridge Street and Clinton. The Blue Star Memorial program was developed by the National Garden Clubs, Inc. in 1945 to pay tribute to the Armed Forces that defended our country during World War II. The Charlevoix Evening Garden Club worked in collaboration with the Charlevoix Area Garden Club to complete this important project to honor Michigan Veterans.

Members of the Charlevoix Evening Garden Club have contributed to the Penny Pines Program for as long as any of us can remember. In 2025 this National Garden Clubs program was renamed "Plant a Tree".

NGC is a proud supporter of this Reforestation / Forest Education Program. Donations are used by the USDA Forest Service or State Forester to replant burnt or otherwise damaged trees in conjunction with federal funds. Seedlings are replacement and/or trees native to that particular area not necessarily of the pine variety.
